Summary: Wacky tribe shenanigans are nothing new to us. But now we go to Australia, where having just 30 dangerous species is considered just touching the tip of the iceberg. Here, the crocodile reigns supreme, and the natives know it.

History: The local Aboriginals believe that a huge saltwater crocodile that's been terrorizing the locals is a sacred creature. For to them, it carries with it the souls of the dead. For a visiting hunter, there is conflict between killing the beast for its crimes against humanity and simply taking it to where it can be harmless and safe.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, the crocodile is captured, and is taken to an area in Australia where it can't be a problem to anyone.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Half the time, this croc can be convincing, but other times it just isn't. Still, it's nice to see a different take on hunting the big bad reptile of the water. At least the natives weren't dehumanized.

Trivia: -Crocodiles are indeed important to Aboriginal myth. One particular story involves a crocodile named Gunadar, who sought a woman to look after his eggs, and was killed by the other men for the effort. The woman took pity on Gunadar, and told his newly hatched children to eat the first man they saw, hence why crocs are dangerous to humans.

-If there IS a river beast that Aboriginals fear, it's the Bunyip, a water demon much bigger than a man, and with an appetite for them as well. Descriptions of what it looks like vary greatly.
